How to use Retweets and Hashtags with Automatically You
Retweets and hashtags can be very valuable on Twitter. We use them regularly to grow our following and to help other Twitter users who we like or who help us. Automatically You is developing a couple new feature which will change and augment RTs and hashtags. In the meantime, we recommend creating a few categories of tweets specific to RT and to #FF and add them to your daily tweets. An example of this could be the following:
08:00 quote tweet
09:00 interesting article tweet
10:00 interesting video tweet
11:00 funny quote tweet
12:00 #FF tweet
13:00 personal tweet
14:00 interesting article
15:00 interest quote tweet
16:00 RT
17:00 marketing tweet
It can be arranged in any order. The timing is not critical. What is critical is giving information and building relationships in contrast to only marketing one’s products or services.

Jan 14, 2010Timing is not critical? To my experience timing is very important on Twitter at least. Its real time marketing channel where tweets of followed people are seen on a limited timeline and space. If I want to get more responses from international followers I need to tweet at 2am – 6am. Tweeting outside that, gives less responses. Thats because not all followers are active to visit our own timeline, but they still follow their own collected friends timeline or lists timelines nowadays.
